Speak to your Optometrist as your Optometrist can identify the underlying cause of your inability to see at night during an eye exam. Glaucoma, cataracts, myopia (short-sightedness), retinitis pigmentosa and lens surgery are all possible causes of difficulty seeing at night. Treatment will depend on the cause as the Optometrist may recommend new glasses or contacts in you have myopia, or potential surgical options for glaucoma or cataracts.
