It is essential to protect your eyes from the sun’s harmful UV rays, especially in the summer or whilst on holiday. 

If you do not protect your eyes from the sun properly you are at risk of many problems, the most common being Photokeratitis – sun burn to the eyes. This is often very painful and could cause your vison to become temporarily blurred.

Additionally, prolonged exposure to the sun can increase your chances of developing an eye condition later in life, such as cataracts or macular degeneration.  

It is possible to insert prescription lenses into most sunglasses as well as other frames. Also, custom tints can also be added to your lenses to make sure you receive the most suitable eye protection available.
